My Dongsaeng!

Assalamualaikum,

Its 11th January!
It's my little Azeema's birthday XD

A2

One day before her first day in high school, Azeema texted me

"Kakak, esok adek dah start sekolah. Best ehh dapat masok kolej!!!! impian tercapai"

Errk, I didn't know she was really hoping to get into Kolej Abdillah that much but alhamdulillah dek, everything was going smoothly, 5As and here you are, as a high school student.

Nur Azeema is the kind of senang masuk ajar kata orang. You had to tell her ONCE and she was on a roll after that, she knew her routine from then on. What I liked about her is that she could carry any task and confident enough to carry herself well.

Ohmma! Dongsaeng!

And also what makes me proud is that she is able to hafaz al Mulk at the age of 11 (err primary 5?). Back then I remembered telling her "Amalkan surah al Mulk after Isyak, iAllah Allah hindarkan kita dari seksa kubur". Then what can I say? She consistently reading al Mulk after Isyak till now!

Now, what did I achieve when I was in primary 5? Haha pathetic life back then.

True what others said, "Melentur buluh biarlah dari rebungnya". Kagum melihat anak-anak orang lain membesar dengan hebat, balancing between dunya and akhirah, thus asking myself, "Apa yg kau contribute utk family/anak-anak kau?"

I want to join Allah in Jannah one day. I want to live in Heaven with my husband and my entire family forever when the day comes. I want my loved ones to be in Heaven and not suffer for my sins.

Allah has given us so much. I want to learn all the ways to thank Him.

Submission to Allah.

I am still learning.

To adek, thank you for being part of my life. Happy 13th birthday! Kakak sayang always ;)

The Lost Kingdom
Layali Hall, Mahattah Raml

If there’s one thing I learned from this program, it is something I already know but doesn’t mind to be reminded. I am a lost soul on a different map, came with the hopes of being able to learn history again. The absurd history of us, Islam!

For those who have been following this journey of mine for quite some time, may realized I did post something on Turkey yang macam nak pergi gila gila tu. (or not, siapalah yang nak baca blog ni kan)

Of all the history of Islam, I would say, I love the one involved in Constantinople. Sultan Muhammad al Fateh! is one of my favourite heroes in Islamic history. Wow, so young, in that tender age, very successful, inspire me a lot! (I really mean this). I wish i could see one of his kind in my life.

Dalam post ni, bukan nak bercerita pasal sejarah, cuma I feel so blessed, Alhamdulillah, I find this event to be highly refreshing and berpeluang to attend. Some people might tend to find history is boring but this effort by the kakak2 should be applauded.

There's more to life than just academic-oriented lessons, facts and figures. Lets revive our deen w sirah!

.Note : This one whole day program from 8am - 8pm is mentally and physically tiring. I dont know what gives me strength, balik balik terus write an entry of this young man. Guess I really like him a lot!
Allah Amir Muhammed korusun! ameen...
