Why You No Understand Me?

Assalamualaikum wbt and hye!

Salam. It's time for the occasional ramblings again. I'll make it short and simple, for I'm sure nobody is interested in reading much on a random rant.

So this is our final PROF project before summer holidays, something about communication skills. You know, when you have so much respect for someone or when you are in an organization, things can become rather complicated. At least for me.

What is the right way to communicate? And to make the event/organization runs smooth? Even having your voice louder feels disrespectful for me. What more to argue on something.

Things in an organization, between classmates, between friends, is not always bliss. Allah brings us through various kinds of situations and make us meet different kinds of characters, so that we learn to not be attached to people; that we learn to not expect from others too much.

Although the night was cold, bak kata orang hanya berbumbungkan langit, thank you and I appreciate for all the co-operation, AJK, fasilitators, mahupun peserta. And for the second time being an emcee, I don't have any problems anymore, haha!
May we meet again for another project! XD

Omma aboji!

May our parents and Allah forgive us for any times we felt that they are making things 'difficult' for us.

Semoga kita diampunkan atas setiap detik rasa bahawa ibu bapa kita menyusahkan kita.
Sebelum atau sesudah ada pasangan hidup (for I believe tho haven't reach that phase). They almost will never have any bad intention towards us.

[al-An’aam 6:151]

[al-Isra’ 17:23]

Like.Dislike

Assalamualaikum and hello! Present you, my new family :)

Image999

To be honest, I am always somewhere in the middle. I am halfway between motivated and not, hardworking and lazy, brilliant and ignorant, extrovert and introvert, et cetera. Sometimes the balance tilt a little to the positive, sometimes it just goes down the drain depending on situation. This is what I dislike about myself. I easily settle at being average. If only I have the might to push myself a little bit further, I might have achieved more that I already have.

Since I have this new responsibility, I have no spare minute to waste, and time. It moves too swift that I hardly notice that it's gone. yet I am still caught up in yesterday. Many times I'd say "Can't believe it's Thursday?!". Time, it moves too swift yet not much that I've done. This leads me to another thing, I might be in loss. Human is indeed in loss,

"Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience." (103:3)

And for those who think I took the wrong step by joining this PROF, with the reason of you don't want to bergaul between lelaki perempuan, also with the reason of you menjaga pandangan, ikhtilat and all. You can say whatever you want, I don't mind. Because I believe that this will be my 'nilai tambah dalam diri' when I graduated and getting a job later.

I am disappointed with this kind of attitude/mentality of some people who were choosing whom to talk to, to whom to smile to, to whom to hang about with. Well, I know it was not my lost because it was not me who sat down at one corner and chitchat in their small world.

I know I don't have the right to judge or anything. Sorry, honestly Eka memang tak suka judge people, I hate myself when I ter-accidentally did it.

Worry

Salam and hello! The room can be so cosy sometimes and makes me so lazy T.T

Who does not waking in the morning feeling worried? Tell me, I want to be friend with you. Spread your positivity. Every start of the day I am alarmed with the most annoying siren from the phone, too early in the morning.

But you can't really complain because of the loads of work that I haven't crossed on my to-do-list, the amount of events coming up on the calendar, the upcoming semester assignments (Oh, which I got Pathology this time, sounds interesting)

And looking back at the days, time is really speeding and stress is gaining on me. Plus, no matter how calm I try to be, it is still nerve wrecking. It's already May, means summer is nearly here, so does final. I am worried if I cant keep up.

Oh tak boleh give up Nurul Atiqa, tak boleh tak boleh. Life continues after each hurdle. And there's so much more to life that are up for grab. You're on the lose if you wish to sleep it off after every battle.

So when you are free (form collective services), toil hard (in worship), and towards your Lord turn with eagerness. (Al-Insyirah, 7-8)

The One Who Made Me Believe I Deserve to be Happy.

Assalamualaikum WBT

My father is a silent person but loved to joke with anyone and everyone. He had this ability to strike a conversation with a complete stranger and make them laugh as though they've been friends for years.

He enjoys telling us stories about his life experiences, the people he met and the places he went.

Bapak pernah cakap before I fly,
"I don't care what you want to do in life as long as you're happy. But work hard because you are smart and I want you to have the best".

Bapak always treated me like a princess. If he could he'd carry the weight of the world on his shoulders just for me (and siblings).

His patience inspired me to be forgiving. Seriously sangat sabar, sabar dengan karenah kami adik beradik yang ntah pa2 kan, tapi tu lah bapak. Because anger and resentment leads to sadness but when I forgive, there's space in my life and in my heart for happiness to bloom.

His unconditional love made me believe in myself and the good things I deserve. My father gives me a sense of self-worthiness no one else can even try to give me. My happiness is truly a gift from him (and Him,of course) that will last for a lifetime InsyaAllah.

What will happen if he's no longer around? Not that I want that to happen at the time being but because last night, I just got the news from Dr Asri that Syasya's father just passed away. (note: Syasya was my senior back then in Kolej Mara, Cambodia's project throw us a bond)

"Amat sedih atas kmatian Dato Fickry boss Karangkraf. Beliau bagaikan ayah saya sndiri. Moga Allah mrahmati beliau. Sy di UK, x smpat pulang."
- Dr Asri

Macam mana kalau berlaku dekat ahli keluarga kita sendiri? Tak taulah kan, but I'm just not ready...yet. I'm not ready Ya Allah.

To those yang baca post ni, tolong sedekahkan Al-Fatihah buat Allayarham Uncle Fickry, please; I believe he's a good man and servant as well.

.Note: Menangis baca artikel DrAsri

Snippets..again

Assalamualaikum wbt.
Dear Whoever Cares,

1. I just finished Musculo Skeletal module and just starting on Blood, Lymphatic and Immune System - which I find less interesting. Heh. Especially about blood and stuff. But its such an eye-opener learning about......blood, haemoglobin structure, and such. Sigh.

2. What better way to celebrate post exams than a marathon of movies! So I decided to embrace my inner kid and take a journey to the past for Disney cartoon classics like Beauty and the Beast and Lion King that we all used to watch as little kids..or you don't?

3. It's always good and pleasing to hear stories from whoever that went for Umrah or Hajj. Long session with Dalila, Qmul's friend who just got back from there. I don't know how to explain this but it's an honour to be a guest of Allah SWT and we were more than determined to do our best kan kan?

4. I learned more about Quran and Islam and all sorts of things that come along with them both, and I love it. Not everything is supposed to be academical, brain and soul are two different things and deserved to be fed different meals, right. But yeah, sometimes we forgot the fact that we had a Master, and sometimes not everything is what it appears to be.

5. Return tickets have been booked. 22 hours transit during fasting month is somehow unacceptable for me but let's take it well. Maybe ada hikmahnya. KL-Kuching return ticket pun dah confirmed and I'm counting :)
