Pack your bag, hop on a flight and live a new life.

Oh wait.

Before you do that, you might want to consider the place you're going to stay and how to get around.

And if you could still use your current phone contract or if the people there speak the same language.

And if they still use the same British Pound.

If there is any of your favourite shops and where to get key ingredients of your favourite food.

I guess this is the other side of the 'pack your bag, hop on a flight and live a new life' motto. The adventure of not knowing it all, meddling with the trouble later.

I will get through this.  I know I will.

Oh, can't wait!

Tao Sushi

Yesterday afternoon after coming back from class, Hana asked if if I wanna go for Tao Sushi, new sushi shop in town. We didn't know the exact location of this place, but according to the map, it was quite far, 8 tram station away from us. Hana said, why don't we give it a try? Being adventurous us, I brought along my iPad for easier tracking.

So, from Camp Ceasar to Rushdy, we followed the maps. There were lots of shops. This part of Rushdy is quite different from the place we usually go. Syari' Fuad, Szezos Street, etc. How do I say this, the building structure, the shops, the environment, I can say it feels meriah and urban compared to our place.

There were lots of cafes and odd brands that I have never heard of. I think it would be nice to have a stroll down and have a browse around if you have that spare time.

So, alhamdulillah after few minutes walk, so we found this new Tao Sushi Restaurant. It is located above Brew and Chew at Kafr Abdour Street. Quite narrow and eerie street I must say. But it can easily be found. Alhamdulillah hilang lah kelaparan kami (:

The sushi was not bad. Slight cheaper compared to Mori Sushi. But I preferred Mori more! XD

Struggle

The strongest steel is forged from the hottest of fires.

That is what I tell myself when the going gets tough.

Life is always full of challenges. There is always something that will make you grit your teeth in frustration, be in a trying work colleague, dealing with bureaucratic matters, trying to juggle student life – but I always thought that God would never give you a challenge that you didn’t have the mental fortitude to overcome.

The most highly regarded apostles of religion were the ones who were tested the hardest. The most successful individuals had the most grueling of trials. Sometimes it seems like those who are the loveliest people are put through such difficulty in life.

Nobody every promised life was going to be fair, but every bump on the road is slowly building you up to be someone you have yet to become.

When the mountain looms up against you, just take a step back and take a break. Take it one step at a time, and identify the moments that you are struggling with and accept that it is a journey that we all have to take at our own time.

Just reach out and understand that it is okay to struggle, that we are not expected to attain perfection, that there are times where we cannot do it alone.

It is a road we will all take.

Just find that strength inside.
