In 10 years time..

I have been sick since last Friday. Started with sorethroat then flu, and getting the fever last Sunday. But alhamdulillah I think my condition is getting better. Maybe with the exam stress and all, I didnt able to fully concentrate on my studies. Some of you might wonder why am I so free to drop by here and write / update my blog. To be honest, when I'm stress, I write more! haha. nah, quite a good medium to express or spill everything sometimes don't you think? :)

Well, I promised something to a cousin that I'd do this just for her. She's sooo far far away from us and miss her loads and now I have to write about where I see myself in 10 years! ;)

In 10 years time..I'll be 30 years old young. hihi. I hope to have started a good, promising career in science industry by then InsyaAllah. and frankly speaking in any organisation which allows me to help others through my line of work and it kinda entails some sort of humanitarian because it's not just about 'me, me, me' all the way eh? Maybe this is influenced by my last Cambodia Project.

In 10 years time..who knows, I could be married with a kid or 2? HAHAHA. Well, I know one thing is for sure. As much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE children, I don't think it's good idea to have them unless I'm with a man who will be an awesome Dad, leader and good provider for the future family. It's the best for every children to live in a stable, happy home where both parents can get along synergistically. To be honest, these days that is a lot to ask for, apparently.

In 10 years time... I want to finally settle down in a country. Yes, cukuplah. just one country because I'm getting pretty tired of figuring out where I belong. It could be Malaysia, it could be somewhere else. I'll leave that one a mystery for now.

In 10 years time... insyaAllah I'll be able to look back and say that I made some pretty good choices in life.

p/s: If you could be in front of the Ka’abah every single day to ask for God’s forgiveness / blessings, would that be enough to make you happy for the rest of your life? Or would you still want more?

Peta Hidup

Salam!

Stumbled upon this picture tweet by QuranHadis on Twitter this morning. Very cute mind map and feel like sharing it with you people ;)

Allah has given me everything as He believes in me. Somehow I believe He trusts that I will appreciate every givings or blessings so I can use them wisely. For that reason nothing I have for now is truly mine isn't it?...because He made it be.. Kun fayakun.

Qur'an 36:82 Verily, when He intends a thing, His command is “Be” and it is!
And peeps, all that I have today is amanah (responsibility) and I am always so quick to forget that.

The End of Time.

It's pretty scary when you think that all of the minor signs of the end of time have already happened :/

I thought that this would be the perfect topic to compliment all that talk of tunics and skirts.

...

It's not..?

And today, the Muslim world is on fire. Happening for change. Fierce demonstrations erupted in Bahrain, people are protesting in Yemen, and thousands of demonstrators marched in Iran. Not to mention Algeria, Jordan and Syria have also been part of those effect.

Dear readers, please make doa for all of our brothers and sisters. May Allah swt give them the strength and protection. Ameen.

Assalamualaikum wbt..

A boy after my own heart. I really do heart the source of these beautifully mesmerising images. How adorable. SubhanAllah.

the Good Day

I'm happy to report that I'm in much higher spirits. I hate going all Negative on blog, but sometimes I just need to rant bout it - as we all do, I suppose. In any case, I believe that the grumpiness is far behind me now.

1. Encouragement from all you lovely family and friends. (Yes, I'm talking to you.) There's nothing like a bunch of sweet tweets or comments to make my insides turn to mush at a moment notice.

2. Catching up with my best friend on Skype. Tho she is far far far away from me, yes we can still connect with each other. Technology is advanced today ;)

3. I'm happy that my life is pretty much the same. And I hope after finals I'll be able to write again without having the feeling that forcing myself to come up with something on blog - that is what I want to avoid, more than anything.

4. Discovering a huge amount of inspiration around me. Inspiration is always there, but sometimes to be honest I'm just at a loss as to what to do with it. Blank! puff!

And have a great Saturday!

read: I don't know why am I saying this but honestly I can't wait to be back in college. Stress nay di rumah I just can't fully concentrate on studies. Distractions ada di mana-mana :/

Poise and patient

Story to be shared....

Yesterday Nazrin sent a bulk message to all his friends (Malaysian + mat salleh) inviting them for a last football game after their exams. Then out of the ordinary one of the replied came in. It was

Nazrin: Let's play football...yada yada yada
Reply : Pergi mampus. (Go die!)

Now if you were me what was your first impression? Clearly mine was not a positive one and to be honest I was a bit shocked to hear this from him because I never thought his friends would never ever wrote nor joke something so rude or random like that.

From my dad's experience, there's a lot of things to learn about the British that I have high respect for them. It's their way of putting words. Or simply say, the way they politely talk or even write even when telling off a person's mistakes. I recommend you reading an article or books from British English literature and you will notice how beautiful it is written.

Ok now back to the replied. At the very first place, I thought that person might have some slight physiological problem. Normal people will sure answer it politely. I, like some of you out there might judge a person not just physically but also from the way they talk or words they use.

Sure to be honest, some of my friends love to swear (me too sometimes when I'm not in the right mood). But let's face it peeps, when it comes to first impression, it is always best to put your best behaviour. And plus, friends is friends and you know them better even when they love to swear. And that's already different story!

Never try to make swearing a habit la. Remember, you're the one who's going to represent yourself. Besides, as Muslims, if we're angry and inpatients and since Islam is all about poise, peace and patient, let's use God's given word. I believe that it's much nicer and it's even better since we get pahala for it right? :)

And owh by the way, the replied Nazrin got, turn out to be a random people after all.

Marina Bay Spore

On a lighter note, have you guys went / seen the new Marina bay sands luxury hotel in Singapore? It's freaking awesome!!!!!! Went there last Chinese new year holiday with uncle and aunt. Basically, it's a casino hotel with HUGEEEEEE ship placed on top of three towers.

And I am soo sure the water feels lovely and it is kind of swimming heaven for swimming pool lover to swim way up high in the sky without any boundaries..
