Hijab

Assalamualaikum wbt,

Everyday, seeing changes from free hair to hijabers from a circle of high school friends makes my heart melts.

Me myself, I've been through numerous changes, more so that I could ever recall. But those changes remain merely physical in nature, and underneath them is still the same girl who laughs a little too much and talks till the cow comes home. Sigh.

To reflect back, I am honestly couldn't remember why I started to wear hijab, that was in Form 4 (tho it was not fully completely covered back then).

But I believe and personally know I don (to wrap / to cover) the hijab to change.

That struggle in you, inside you. I believe it wasn't easy. There were a lot of struggles especially against our nafs. From never covering up to trying to cover up, properly, perfectly.

It is my hope and du'a that donning the hijab would bring about many more changes for me and my friends. Ameen :)
