December is truly wedding season in Malaysia and another one of my friends is getting married todayyyy!
Sarawak Malay weddings are just so...throngs of people, much food, much music, much kompang, hot sun, kids running around, long queue for food, bride crying, much laughter, kids falling down, kids wailing, can't find the mums, too busy gossiping and that is just the wedding day itself, not considering the pre-wedding big family gathering/ dinner/ reunion/ henna night, solemnization day, reception day, after wedding party.
Look, I'm gonna say this early, I probably will not gonna invite you guys for my wedding, just me, the LUCKY guy, my parents, my siblings, the official, and then tea ceremony....and eat out. and then post the pictures on Facebook saying I'm married.(equivalent to the Islamic tradition of the need to advertise your wedding)
but I do enjoy colorful weddings though..

.notakaki: Lek lu, baru 5 percent kawan-kawan yang kawin. Aku akan tunggu budak2 India/Australia kawin. Kalau dorang kawin, especially budak2 laki yang pelik2 perangai tu kawin, baru aku start panik.
