warm feelings

I think one of the warmest feelings is to madly love a song at one point of your life, get distracted by the surroundings for the next 2+ years, and right at that pivotal point where you think you may just forget about that one speck of memory- they all decide to come stumbling in.

You welcome this foreign but yet familiar melody with arms wide open and then, out of the bluest blue, the bubble of realization grows upon you- it was the soundtrack of your life. This was the song that warm, break, comfort your littlest red beating heart. Now that you have rediscovered a missing piece of your memory, it blankets you- warm and tight.

You never want to let this and the memories that are tagged along to the song go. It becomes a part of you, a part of which you never knew could be occupied by such memories- in your heart, it permanently stains. And you can never allow yourself to detach from it, even if you had the chance, you wouldn't.

current addiction- The Distance.

How could you not love the oldies? they're the best, evergreen everlasting :)
