2. Happy belated birthday Azah! May Allah bless you with everything you've always dreamed of, beautiful. Hoping the best for your UK's placement future doc! :) On the other note, take note Amal, I want the birthday wishes nicely written on the snow too! haha guess I'm jealous much.
3. On a sad note, I'm leaving Malaysia on the first week of October. I feel all nostalgic right now. You know, like all of a sudden you look at your surroundings differently and just about anything can make you feel emotional and your thoughts seem to drift away so easily to all the fond memories.
4. Hani and Hasnor left for US. Pretty sad because I didnt get a chance to meet them. Now we're all over the world friends. Wishing them the very best and dear Allah, please guide them to have an amazingly successful life overseas whilst never forgetting You.
4. Many of you would have heard about the recent outbreak of riots in parts of London and now spreading across United Kingdom. Being away from home may be tough on some of us, but being away from family during difficult times are the most testing. Hope some of the friends are ok.
5. Bad memory, my late grandmother passed away on my first day of BTN, one day after I said goodbye…in a way I think Allah knows I wouldn’t have been able to handle it. Bapak told me the news when I came back in Kuching on Sunday.
Bapak gave a speech about how everything happens for a reason and we have to accept Allah’s will. He slowly eased into the bad news and finally, “Nenek dah meninggal.”
It was so sudden. There was a huge lump in my throat and I wiped the tears. I didn’t get to kiss her one last time.
To my late nenek, I will always remember all the advice you have given me. You will be greatly missed by all of us. I pray to Allah that you will be taken care of in heaven.
