I'm finally home! Alhamdulillah, it feels so good to be back. After nine months of being abroad, I'm sleeping in my own bed and having dinner with my family at home again. My journey home wasn't really the best one. I flew alone on Emirates from Alexandria to Dubai, and then from Dubai to KLIA. The flight from HGB-DXB went by pretty quickly. But also pretty bad. I had quite massive headache along the flight. I cannot sleep either. Sakit sangat sampai menangis, betul tak tipu. I slept for only 1 hour plus. My eyes were bloodshot and I was totally knackered but I always have trouble sleeping upright in flights. But before we knew it, 3 hours passed just like that. 

DXB-KUL was a bit more fun for me. It was quite comforting and good when you see other Malaysians also in the same flight as yours!! Pretty feeling homey la gitu :D I seat next to a friendly Indian guy who studying in Russia. He was 5th year medical student. Pretty cool and comfortable to talk to. At first we were talking in English and then suddenly he asked "Are you Malaysian?" "Ohh yes, I am!" haa lepas tu melayu terus. Dia memang kelakar. I had fun talking with that guy. 

But anyway, the 7 (very long) hours came and went and the plane started its descent into KLIA at 9.30pm (Saturday night). I saw the most gorgeous view before we landed, and subhanallah (either that or it completely disappeared). Kuala Lumpur is so beautiful and I think many of us don't stop and appreciate it enough. 

Baggage claim suprisingly got a small problem. Because I thought I don't have to take out my luggage when I arrived in KL! Apparently, my luggage stops at KL and the problem is I've booked Sama Sama Ekspress Hotel inside the satellite terminal. So macam kalau keluar dari satellite terminal mana boleh masuk balik sebab I don't have my next boarding pass! And nak check in pun ridicolous because my next flight is tomorrow morning! hah mana ada counter check in untuk esok pagi bukak malam2 macam tu kan! Sigh

Fortunately that MAS officer was so kind "takpe, awak check in dulu dekat hotel. I will print your boarding pass. Bag kita try simpan" And he brought me to meet Emirates officer there and settle down my problem. Officer cakap dia orang boleh tolong ambikkan my lugagge and I have to check out early tomorrow to drop in my luggage for the next flight. Alhamdulillah sangat for that kind hospitality.

And that night, I stay at SamaSama Ekspress. Requested a room with view. Subhanallah atas nikmat yang Allah bagi ni. Kalau lepas one long haul flight and getting such rest memang alhamdulillah terbaik. Katil ada semua, boleh mandi refresh yourself.

Ni la view of runway and control tower from my room. That was actually the plan that I just ride! At Gate C3. Isn't this awesome??! I am pretty much aviation geek and LOVES everything about airplanes and airport (:

There are so many things that I want and need to do this summer, so much cravings to be satisfied, so many people to meet and catch up with! I sure hope I'll have the chance to do everything, or at least most of the things, insyaAllah. However for now, I've got to adjust my sleeping pattern and get used to the heat first.

It's good to be back, Malaysia.
